CO2, a completely innocent chemical compound, which plays an important role in the natural cycle of the living world, has become a planetary enemy. The claim that anthropogenic CO2 is the cause of climate change is one of the big lies of the modern Western world. This text tries to explain what is behind this great manipulation that takes on religious features.
I’m not a supporter of the conspiracy theory, but…
The majority of politically correct citizens do not fail to repeat the stated phrase in order to avoid any suspicions that something important in the world is being organized hidden from the public eye. Such people use euphemisms such as “deep state”, “backstage interests”, “corporate interests”, “proxy action” and the like. First of all, it is necessary to distinguish what is encompassed by the term “conspiracy”, and then we can label certain social and political events as conspiratorial. For example, everyone will agree that the violent overthrow of a government is the work of conspirators who have been preparing their plan in secret. The definition of conspiracy becomes less clear or completely unclear, when big capitalists financially do the same work in secret. It can be financing the opposition or producing scandals in an undesirable government. It should be emphasized here that modern democracy is a very expensive political game and that a multi-party system is best suited to be managed from behind, by the capitalists, while preserving the facade that the people decide on everything. In this case, everything can be presented as a fight against corruption and an expression of the will of the people.
Things become even more complicated and unclear when big capitalists start investing money in an organized manner in social projects that do not have a narrow party character, but are presented as a general social and global interest. One of such projects is the so-called fight against climate change. It is obvious that we live in a time when the climate is changing. What is not obvious and scientifically unfounded is the claim that man caused these changes by using fossil fuels and producing CO2 and other greenhouse gases that go into the atmosphere. Such a claim in itself would not be a problem, if it did not have far-reaching economic consequences in the countries that accept it. The economic consequences are not an abstraction and they are clear to an average educated person.
When Ford began to mass produce the famous model “T”, then there was no need to impose a tax on someone so that people would buy it at a good price, the needs of the market were enough as a driver. Now that fossil fuel car technology has reached its peak and a new or used car is available to every citizen, a tax is being imposed on the use of such cars to finance the sale of electric cars. The problem is that such cars are more expensive and batteries that would be market competitive with the classic drive have not yet been made. Once this is resolved, it will not be necessary to impose new technology behind the scenes through the EU. The fact remains that the storage of electricity has not been technically solved so far, so why the rush? What are all the consequences of abandoning old technology? All these questions, obviously, are not interesting to the organizers of the campaign against the use of fossil fuels, their goal is to remove fossil fuels regardless of the price. In order to justify such radical plans, it is necessary to create an artificial image through the media that the fight against CO2 is a global issue of life and death?
Air pollution problems in big cities are real and can be solved in several ways, but that is not the topic of this text. Unclean city air is just a good rational reason for a frontal attack on fossil fuels. In order to achieve such a goal in propaganda, there must be some rational content.
There is more evidence that the fight against CO2 is a project of political interest:
The idea did not come “from below” from the scientific institutions of individual countries, but is imposed through the UN, through the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. In 2019, we had the opportunity to watch a first-class political circus in the UN. A public – school student from Sweden was brought there accompanied by her mother. Her task was to read a prepared text in which a pathetic appeal is made to all countries to save the planet green from the CO2 and other gaseous enemies. It is clear that the people who are in that UN body do not have the power to impose their views on the entire Western world. That is why there must be someone who is more powerful than individual governments and their scientific institutions.
The origin of climate change is a typical scientific question, it is the field of natural sciences, where it is normal for different viewpoints to freely form and intersect. This is not the case in this topic. There are many scientists who claim that it is difficult or impossible to publish an article in a professional journal that is not on the right “line”. This is confirmed by a prominent Canadian scientist who studies climate change. She resignedly suggests to the editors of such magazines to abolish them, if everything about the climate has been clear for decades, then there is no need for their existence. Dr. Goldberg1 claims that scientific research on climate change is possible only in retirement, otherwise there is nothing to do with a scientific career.
Nobel Laureate John F. Clauser2 claims similarly. He explicitly says that modern science is corrupt. In simple terms, not only politicians but also scientists can be bought on the market. There are also exceptions among scientists who cannot be bought. Such was the prominent Serbian scientist Milutin Milanković in the past.3Today in Croatia academician Vladimir Paar4 is one of them, but unfortunately, he does not have access to national TV programs. One of the best examples of fraud under the guise of scientific research are the claims that the climate was quite uniform in the past and then in the 19th century, when fossil fuels began to be used on a large scale, sudden warming occurred.5 Such a statement is labeled as manipulation of science, and should be called by its proper name “big lie” for political propaganda purposes.
Media coverage of all actions aimed at environmental protection has become comprehensive and immediate, and that’s a good thing. For example, in Zagreb, citizens took to the streets protesting against the construction of a medical waste incinerator. Private and state media duly covered all of this and, as expected, the attempt to build an incinerator failed. But no one made an effort to offer an alternative to the incinerator in Zagreb, because that alternative proposal would again be met with the same reception by citizens who have been prepared in the same way by the media that every chimney is an enemy of the people. Every nuclear reactor is an enemy of the people, but no one minds that we use electricity from one such reactor that is over the border in Slovenia and the Hungarian reactors do not concern us because they are in another country. It is important that we are environmentally aware, and we are protected from danger by the national border and the so-called Non-Governmental Associations. A similar performance occurs with almost every attempt to build a power plant.
One time the bats are endangered, the other time the fish in the lake, then the birds of the sky and so on, funny. In all these cases, the media act in the same way and you will never see that after these civic initiatives, a competent and responsible person from the government explained what we need when it comes to an incinerator and some power plant, how much it costs citizens per kw of electricity produced with the help of the sun or wind in relation to classic large producers and is it even possible to organize a stable supply of electricity without producers that produce CO2 and nuclear power plants? And these are things that every high school student can understand. And you will never see the government firmly stand behind an expert interpretation that is in the national interest? Furthermore, the question arises as to how the state and private TV cameras immediately find themselves with a group of activists who are concerned about the fate of the planet and who virtually figure as the voice of the public. For a better understanding, it is necessary to remind that no NGO has the need to express concern about what is happening to our agriculture after joining the EU and the liquidation of Agrokor,6 who are the real owners of banks and media, by name and surname, their nationality and citizenship?
It is obvious that the campaign against CO2 is filled with illogic and is not based on scientific research. If it were the other way around, then it should not be imposed politically and media owners would not prevent the free exchange of opinions. To confirm the credibility of Newton’s laws, you don’t need Greta Thunberg’s help in the UN General Assembly, nor anonymous people in the UN’s Intergovernmental Climate Panel, which can be bought for relatively little money. It is also unbelievable that owners in certain industries would start investing money in non-competitive production projects of their own free will. It is also unbelievable that owners in certain industries would start investing money in production projects that are too expensive of their own free will. The same applies to individual governments, when it comes to projects aimed at abolishing the current way of production based on fossil fuels. At the very least, governments should be extremely cautious about such uncertain projects. But in practice, the completely opposite process takes place. From Brussels, completely faceless bureaucrats set already short-term deadlines for when we should get rid of fossil fuels, and all in the interest of saving humanity, and all politicians formally accept this. Those politicians who dare not participate in the great project of saving the planet, awaits the fate of former American President Trump – an endless series of private and political scandals!
The fact is that for years huge amounts of money have been invested in this crusade against CO2. The possibility that large industrial producers would finance such a “war” is excluded because they have no economic interest in it, but it is possible to impose it on them, an example is the automotive industry. Big producers invest in the promotion of their interests, and never the other way around. That is why the claim that large corporations are involved in the fight against climate change is invalid. In the same way, the governments of individual countries cannot have an interest in supporting radical changes in the economy, and yet it happens. On the scene, there is an amazing agreement on this matter, as if they are all unfailingly guided by a guiding star towards the same goal, something similar to the wise men in the New Testament. Or maybe it’s a financial leash, because big companies and governments can’t live long without a credit infusion. They are all “patients connected to life support devices” of private banks.
This kind of behavior can only be explained by the fact that big capitalists are behind the whole project. And there is no need to speculate, only they have the power to direct and bring together otherwise diverse economic, political and scientific organizations towards a common goal, which is the salvation of humanity. Political clowns such as the President of the European Government, Jean-Claude Juncker, certainly did not have that power. He did not have enough power and concentration to put on the same pair of shoes in the morning, not to mention his successor, who is a typical political barbie. In politics, it is common for particular political interests to be marketed packaged as big ideas. If we ground the entire project in this way, then we only need to ask the question: Who has an interest if fossil fuels are banned? The answer is: all those who are somehow in a conflict of interest with the big oil and gas producers, because these products are the basis of their political power. If things are set like this, then the lofty goals of the crusade immediately become understandable to everyone. Today’s war in Ukraine, where the USA and the Russian Federation are facing each other, illustrates this nicely. Another example is Islamic countries. It is a grouping of countries that remain consistent with the Islamic tradition based on the Koran and that do not accept the political model of liberal capitalism. At the same time, these countries are more or less in conflict with Israel. Furthermore, the former communist economy of China has become the industrial center of the world, and it does not occur to them to declare CO2 as the enemy of the people. The Chinese, it seems, have had enough of utopias and public enemies.
The organized struggle to save the planet has already taken the hysterical forms typical of a secular religion. Let’s just remember how “the most powerful woman in Europe”7 decided to close all nuclear power plants in Germany. It is obvious that the former attendee of the political course for future politicians in Davos took her political task seriously. Perhaps the German people can still withstand such experiments economically, but the question is how long and whether other nations can do it. Orthodox politicians are already getting deadlines to close farms in their countries, all to save the planet. A few years ago, Zagreb’s city buses were decorated with large signs: “We run on biodiesel”. After a short time, the slogan was removed, but it remained a warning to the citizens of the intellectual capacity of the people from the city who accepted such nonsense as a solution for bus operation.8 More examples could be listed, for now it will be enough to convey the statement of the minister of the Croatian government that we will use hydrogen as fuel to drive trains towards Dalmatia! It is not clear why the minister is so concerned about clean air on the road to Dalmatia, since there are no chimneys there, and there are fewer and fewer people. In the end, it would be wise to wait and let others try with hydrogen. Hydrogen is a highly explosive gas, production, storage and transportation are expensive. But who cares about those little things, what’s important is to be trendy.
To an observer who is not caught up in religious fervor, it all looks unreasonable and ridiculous, but from the point of view of the organizers it has its own logic. In this way, attention is diverted from important social and political issues and directed in the wrong direction. Today, certainly, the demographic collapse of the European nations and the organized replacement of the population is a first-class problem. There is also a monstrous financial system that cyclically produces crises, and then the people pay for it all through inflation. It is a system in which bank owners and speculators who have nothing to do with socially useful work, and who are extremely worried about the future of the planet, have the main say. Today’s western countries have at their disposal powerful technical means to suppress drug trafficking, but the political will is not enough to wipe out this scourge. To make the absurdity even greater, at the same time as a determined campaign against tobacco smoking, we are systematically working on the legalization of soft drugs! There is also a monstrous financial system that cyclically produces crises, and then the people pay for it all through inflation and taxes. It is a system in which bank owners and speculators who have nothing to do with socially useful work, and who are extremely worried about the future of the planet, have the main say. And it is the wild capitalism of bankers who encourage the pathological growth of production, Gross National Product and large corporations that are solely driven by profit, which is the main generator of pollution of the earth and atmosphere. These are all topics that should be avoided in a broad arc so as not to confuse the human herd too much. That is why the mainstream media always finds some global threat to people and animals, there is always a war somewhere, there are always disasters, multiple murders, so that people constantly feel insecure. According to Academician Paar, climate change is determined by the Sun, whose thermodynamics have not yet been clarified, and the complex cyclical motion of the Earth, Moon and other planets. It would be good if TV would respect the facts of celestial mechanics and if they would stop airing political catechism about climate doomsday on a daily basis. Man cannot change natural climate cycles through his activity, but he can change social, economic and political relations.
We can call the political system in the West one way or another, it doesn’t matter. The content and important determinants are important. All “politically correct” citizens should know that hidden political activity through proxies is the basic modus operandi in the Western world. Today’s Western society resembles a large puppet theater. In a puppet theater, you don’t see the people pulling the strings, and the puppets have been replaced by living politicians, businessmen and scientists. Big capitalists don’t have affairs, they aren’t followed by paparazzi, no jokes can be told about them, no one knows where they live, no one criticizes them, in fact it is not known if they exist at all. Unlike them, the British royal house, which is formally the highest authority, has been a source of material for tabloids for decades, not to mention short-term politicians in other countries.
CO2 was put on the UN list of atmospheric pollutants, the gas that is the basis of the life cycle on Earth? This fact alone is a warning about the possibility of manipulating public opinion. Nietzsche once defined his view of the world as “the eternal return of the same” (die Ewige Viederkunft des Gleichen). Many do not agree with such a thesis, but only a few people can dispute the fact that stupidity returns forever. It was not only established in the “dark Middle Ages”, but it is also flaunting itself in our time, when the natural sciences have reached an unprecedented development. Formerly evil demons and miracles have now taken the form of carbon dioxide, methane or nebulous social and biological conceptions. Despite the fact that water vapor and clouds are responsible for over 70% of the greenhouse effect and that the creation of water vapor is directly related to the thermodynamics of the Sun, man-made CO2 has become an evil spirit that wants to destroy our planetary paradise. Therefore, it is necessary to remind the human herd about that devil every night via TV.
In physics, The Law of Conservation of Energy was established a long time ago. When it comes to human society, then The Law of Preservation of Stupidity should be added. We now know that life on our planet will be destroyed in a few billion years, but according to the new law Stupidity is indestructible and it will surely find refuge on another planet. There, it will be welcomed with open arms by some lovely and inclusive new natives who, as couch potatoes, mostly spend their time watching large wall monitors…
