A DIFFERENT VIEW OF THE HUMAN RACES

ABSTRACT

This text covers a small part of the problems of human races in the 20th century. As in the case of other social and political trends, the year 1945 was a turning point for the peoples of Europe. Until then, mainly in the Anglo-Saxon area, the issue of race occupied the attention of many authors and public officials. A lot of literature has been written on this topic. The end of the War marked the complete triumph of the egalitarian conception in East and West. Racial issues were labeled “racism”, and racism became a synonym for the greatest social evil – something similar to an infidel or a heretic in the Middle Ages. In the “Dark Ages” it was difficult to prove to a suspect that he was not an infidel and he immediately carried a dangerous label. The same practice continues in the 20th century when it comes to anthropological conceptions. Now heretics and their books are not burned. Instead, books cannot be published and sold by intellectual heretics. Every intellectual knows very well what topics to avoid if he wants to advance in the professions and earn money for a decent civil life. There has never been as much hypocrisy in academia as there is today. People who grew up in a communist state remember a time when there was not so much duplicity and when it was precisely determined how many years of imprisonment brought “counter-revolutionary activity”, “anti-Marxist attitude” and which topics were forbidden for intellectuals, for example the Jasenovac camp. The communists, while they believed in their utopia, could not be accused of being duplicitous; they did not hide in the background nor did they implement their dictatorship through “liberal” intermediaries.

INTRODUCTION

This text primarily uses historical experience and scientific achievements from Darwin to the discovery of molecular biology. In the study of history, the evolution of living beings and science in general, there is no place for any moralizing and adapting to daily political needs. Readers who do not like this starting point can find plenty of “polished” texts about race that will not disturb their intellectual and emotional balance.

Human races can be defined as original populations that have common physical (phenotype), intellectual and psychological characteristics, all based on genotype. The existence of different original human races is something that is self-evident to any objective and careful observer of the human past and present. The problem is that such an assertion does not fit into the political project of a multi-ethnic society. And when something stands in the way of political interests, then anything can be contested, including Archimedes’ law. Christianity was much more realistic when it put forward the thesis that people are equal only before God and that believers cannot expect justice in this world. Modern egalitarians look down on biblical miracles and this can be discussed through the media, but when it comes to anthropological theories, new age miracles appear and cannot be discussed equally. Thus, listeners of Zagreb’s Third Radio Program can listen to anthropology as interpreted by Boas² for years, but it can never happen that they offer the audience a different opinion. The only “change” can be in the form of Margaret Mead³ or Hannah Arendt⁴, and then for refreshments they offer representatives of the Frankfurt School⁵ and so on. The word race is still used to emphasize excellence, but only for animals. In chemistry, these are precious metals and natural elements, which means unchangeable, something like an ideal human tribe. Since the syntagm is the human race driven into illegality, the replacement term culture is used to exhaustion in all possible forms: culture, culturally, culturally, as if culture is something separate from the biological basis on which it is formed.

In order for the new anthropology to come to life, it was necessary to put forward the thesis that the principles of diversification and Darwin’s theories, which normally apply to the rest of the animal world, no longer apply to the human species, and here we are again in the wonderland, we kicked them out the big door, and they came back through window. We know today that this principle underlies the survival of all living beings.

Consequently, human races are different, the peoples they form are different, and within individual peoples no two individuals are alike. Evolutionary diversification allows the species to survive in the event of any external threats, but all this is not convincing enough when it does not fit into the interest political projects of egalitarians. Only in this way it is possible to explain the maintenance of egalitarianism from the emergence of Christianity until today. Even the ancient Romans noticed the bizarreness of this worldview. For them, it would be an extremely boring world in which there would be no great philosophers, composers, writers, scientists, because the aforementioned do not in any way fit into a society of equals.

When it comes to this topic, it is necessary to clear up the conceptual confusion that formed after the Second World War. It should be emphasized that today’s European peoples are not a biological original race, but rather historical varieties or historical races.⁶ When things are put in this way, then everything becomes much more understandable. This assumption in no way diminishes the significance of race in human society. Molecular biology confirms that genetic hereditary traits do not disappear by mixing. The only question is how compatible are the genes of different racial varieties. Something similar happens with the artificial creation of various alloys. By purposefully adding small amounts of metal to the base metal, we obtain a material of the desired quality. By uncontrolled mixing, from our point of view of utility, the basic ingredient would irreversibly lose its former properties. This is roughly how Darwin thought at the beginning of his work On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection.⁷

Darwin started from an example that every animal breeder knows and which is basically a planned and deliberate selection of desired traits. In evolution, there is no great breeder who directs the course of evolution with a certain intention. Rather, it could be said that the evolution of living beings is the result of one big roulette, an infinite number of attempts, where in the end only that which succeeds in reproducing remains. There are no chosen peoples and races, evolution looks at everything completely indifferently, it is beyond our understanding of good and evil, of pleasant and unpleasant. The decline of European peoples is something that carries a negative sign for the average member of them, but it is no more “worrying” for evolution than the fate of orangutan or panda populations. We can be comforted by the fact that the big evolutionary casino from time to time, quite unexpectedly, throws out the main winnings in the form of great people. Then something like a big supernova flash happens in the genetic constellation.

This is certainly not a pleasant realization, it all depends on whether we have the strength to accept our image in the mirror or perhaps we need to look for another “fairer” mirror that will offer a make-up and retouched reflection.

THE PERIOD UNTIL 1945

The Marxist worldview indelibly marked the 20th century and Marx’s name remained world-famous, regardless of the fact that the entire conception collapsed from within because it was based on wrong assumptions. Another lesser-known member of the Jewish people, Gumplowitz⁸, at the turn of the 20th century started from a completely different principle and established that the basis of social movements is the struggle of races, not classes. Even before him, Nietzsche announced that the Paris Commune⁹ was just a small indigestion towards what was to come, he labeled it as “an invasion of barbarians from below”. And Nietzsche’s contemporary, the Russian writer Dostoevsky, also felt the coming changes deep in the social tectonics. He predicted for the 20th century “coming earthquakes the likes of which the world has not yet seen”.¹⁰

At the same time, it should be emphasized that certain social groups may be aware of their racial or ethnic individuality, but they may not. Their collective identity may be unarticulated and experienced solely as a class struggle or a struggle for justice, but the biological basis remains. We can find many examples of this kind of claim in the past and it is not necessary to speculate much, one of them is the struggle of plebeians and patricians in ancient Rome. What is called the struggle of the social classes in the history of France, is actually a confrontation between the Gallo-Roman population and the Germanic-Frankish nobility. This struggle began on Bartholomew’s Night¹¹ and ended after 1789. with the destruction of the nobility.¹² It continued among other racial entities within the French nation that cannot be precisely demarcated, but the intensity of the struggle was no less than that of the war with the nobility.¹³ Religious wars on the soil of today’s Germany in the 17th century. century have their foundation in the different racial composition of the German north and south. In the predominantly Germanic north of Europe, the idea of liberation from the influence of the Roman Pope found a strong foothold. English ruling circles behaved similarly towards Rome at the time of Henry VIII. Protestantism also found a foothold in Central Europe, but if we look at the European ethnic-racial structure, we see that in the south the Catholic Church retained its authority. Obvious historical differences between of the Italian north and south can only be explained in a similar way. When European history begins to be seen as the development and confrontation of different racial entities, then everything becomes more comprehensible and simpler to explain.

In the first half of the 20th century, the Croatian nation was engulfed in civil war. One side in that war wanted to create an independent state in 1941. relying on Germany and Italy. That attempt failed in 1945. The other side wanted to rebuild Yugoslavia on the model of the USSR, that means a communist dictatorship and a federal state system. That attempt also failed because the second Yugoslavia collapsed, this time without foreign military intervention, when Croatia declared independence on June 25, 1991. It is interesting that even after 30 years since the collapse of the second Yugoslavia, the civil war still continues in the minds of members of the Croatian nation. After the liberation from Yugoslavia, there was a proposal to organize a protocol at the state level for the commemoration of all the victims of the civil war, something along the lines of Spain during the time of Franco. That proposal did not pass. On the contrary, the propaganda war continued. The best example of that war is the continuation and persistent preservation of the Jasenovac myth¹⁴ and complete disinterest in any research and commemoration of the victims of communism. On the one hand, the so-called leftists extend a friendly hand to everyone, they feel like citizens of the world, but they cannot agree with the members of the nation to which they formally belong on how to write the history of the civil war of 1941-1945. They cannot forgive the former partisan general Tuđman because he defected and succeeded in winning the independence of Croatia. You only need to come to Zagreb and see the large meadow that was named after the founder of the Croatian state. The picture is completed by the so-called nationalists whose mouths are full of Croats, but who consider it normal to grab as much as possible for themselves and their closest ones, at the expense of work and at the expense of the national community, which is formally their highest political principle, a clan mentality.

Dr. Sunić¹⁵ was the first to point out the fact that the Croatian people are made up of many different ethnic and racial varieties that behave like horns in a bag. This is the only way to explain the duration and intensity of national divisions within the same nation, the repulsion and hatred towards every national state. Our neighbors Hungarians, Romanians and Bulgarians did not have a civil war during World War II. The pace of the Red Army’s advance determined the withdrawal of the German occupation forces from the Balkans.¹⁶ Thus, the areas inhabited by Croats would be free from them without a single insurgent gun, but the communists never came to power anywhere in peace and their only option was to, in the chaotic political circumstances of the civil war, come to power regardless of the victims. The problem is that Croatian leftists never had the idea of creating an independent national state. An even bigger problem is that a part of Croats does not understand it even now, after so many years.

After the Bolshevik October Revolution of 1917, on the ruins of Imperial Russia, minority peoples prevailed in the highest party bodies. In terms of number and importance, members of the Jewish people stand out here. Jews also played a prominent role in the communist movement of Western and Eastern Europe. Everything points to the conclusion that the Jews as a people in different environments found the fulfillment of their political goals in the communist movement, which emphasized class struggle and internationalism in the foreground. After 1933, Hitler’s government began to build the first and only national state in Europe on racial grounds. For this purpose, the Racial Laws were passed in Nuremberg in 1935.¹⁷ These laws have two aspects. The first is the biological demarcation between Aryans and Jews, and the second is the complete expulsion of Jews from public life. The latter is the real cause of the political conflict or informal war between the Jews and Hitler’s government. Simplistically, one could say that Hitler declared war on the Jews when he wrote his Mein Kampf, and that the Jews retaliated against Germany in 1933 when the National Socialists came to power by announcing a boycott (today’s sanctions) of German goods.¹⁸ That war, viewed from the Jewish side in terms of propaganda, continues today. It should be emphasized here that since the beginning of the 20th century, Jews have become a large informal center of power among European nations and that the German economic model (the third way) was a serious threat to them and the entire concept of international liberal capitalism. This is confirmed by several Western sources. Thus Roosevelt’s son Elliott conveys his father’s words that the real cause of the war with Germany is in their organization of trade and economy.¹⁹ The German theoreticians of National Socialism at that time had a strongly emphasized anti-capitalist streak. They claimed that their opponents would also be members of the German nation if they, as capitalists, found themselves in the place of the Jews.²⁰ So, this is not just about fanatical Nazis chasing a red rag in the political arena, but about real interests and a powerful opponent. It is interesting that this aspect of the Second World War is not a topic in the media and academic circles, as if it did not exist.

Another, informal and less important center of power among the European nations was the Catholic Church together with the Protestant churches. Catholic teaching, as the oldest egalitarianism among European nations, does not accept teaching about different human races. When it comes to the National Socialists, for the Church it is a new pagan cult, where the race, the nation and the leader are worshipped, and in that country people go en masse to events organized by the ruling party on Sundays instead of going to church.²¹

The egalitarian movement found a foothold in the USA at the end of the 19th century. century. The German Jewish immigrant Franz Boas became a lecturer in the anthropology department at Columbia University, in order to form an anthropological school in the 1930s. A Norwegian scientist succinctly described his conception: “For him, the causal sequence is consequently turned upside down; here, people do not create culture, but are themselves the product of culture. The illogicality of this way of thinking is obvious and has no basis in historical events”.²²

But when everything is looked at from a political point of view, which is the creation of a multicultural society, then things become logical and understandable. It is therefore not surprising that E. Wilson in 2011. describes one of the most famous egalitarian activists as follows: “I believe that S. J. Gould was a charlatan who sought to gain reputation as a scientist and writer by consistently misrepresenting what other scientists said, only to later built an argument based on these forgeries”.²³

The founder of behaviorism, John B. Watson, confidently asserted in 1924: “Give me a group of healthy young boys and special opportunities to raise them, and I guarantee you that I will train any one of them to be an expert in any field – doctor, lawyer, the artist, the chief merchant, even the beggar and the thief, regardless of their talents, inclinations, abilities, professions, and the race of their ancestors.”²⁴

C. Lewontin, 1992, goes even further and claims that physical characteristics are also subject to change “so that during our lives, from conception to death, all of us, regardless of race, class or gender, can develop any identity within the limits human species”.²⁵

When the imagination of political activists is unleashed, it is difficult to contain it. Such authors do not care much about criticism, nor do they mind that the stated views do not coincide with historical practice.

THE PERIOD AFTER 1945.

After 1945, learning about human races and eugenics was given an exclusively negative connotation. It became racism, and that means extermination camps, the cause of war and mass suffering. Since then, the word “race” can be used for animals and sometimes for people who have excelled in some skill. There are also in the Croatian language the term “noble” for natural elements that are not prone to mixing and that retain their properties, while others lose them through mutual interactions. It’s hard to come to terms with the fact that race/breeding means a lot when we talk about dogs and horses, but it doesn’t apply to humans. What would the owner of a thoroughbred horse, which is worth a fortune, say if someone advised him that genetics are not important?

For today’s fighters against racism, there are no limits and they are not at all bothered by the historical fact that in the name of race denial and egalitarianism, most violence was committed in the 20th century, from the USSR to Croatia, China and Cambodia. It is interesting that this worldview movement is led mainly by Jewish intellectuals and propagandists.²⁶

It is also interesting that the Jews in Israel are building their own nation-state and that they do not accept the idea of a multi-ethnic state. It is clear to them that in that case they would lose it, and the Jewish people would have disappeared long ago in the historical maelstrom if they had adhered to the principles of Soros’ Open Society. The average reader is amazed when he reads how a stock speculator solves the German question. His advice is short, he asks the Germans, after unification, to leave politics behind, dedicate themselves to ecology and that it is necessary to bring in several million migrants to become a truly open “multicultural” society. It should be emphasized that Soros is only the tip of the iceberg, that behind him are much more powerful Jewish banking magnates and media owners, and that his plan is being realized not only in Germany, but also in all states formed by European nations.

According to the UNESCO resolution in 1951, it is stated that: “On the basis of available scientific research, there is no basis for the claim that human groups differ in their capacity for intellectual and emotional development.” If this is true, then why are there so many differences between human groups. It is enough to look at how the inhabitants of Haiti react to a natural disaster after the great earthquake or the Japanese after the disaster at the Fukushima nuclear power plant. When it comes to white and black residents in the USA, you should look at what happens after the flood in New Orleans and what happens in the American suburbs when the police shoot a citizen of color. Why such a difference in the number of crimes, in relation to the number of inhabitants, between whites and blacks? Where have different racial entities integrated into white society so far? Why is there no racial problem within the American white population considering the constant internecine wars of their ancestors on the Old Continent?

A new principle of freedom of movement of people, goods and capital was proclaimed. Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel issued a public invitation to migrants to come to Germany. At one time it was portrayed as helping people fleeing war, the media put women and children in the foreground, but now there is no need for that anymore. Mostly young men come. These young people do not go by plane directly to the homeland of the “most powerful woman in Europe”, but cross the border illegally without documents and no one can stop them by force, and illegal migration has de facto become a “human right”.²⁷ At the same time, we see scenes of drivers standing patiently in long lines to cross the border, and if they refuse to show their documents, they would be forcibly denied entry into the country. In Croatia, politicians generally resolutely refuse to send the army to the border or to set up appropriate barriers, claiming that razor wire can cause injuries to animals. The question arises, what is the use of such an expensive institution as the army in peace, if it is not supposed to protect state borders.

14. In 1941, the Ustaše authorities formed a prison labor camp for political opponents in Jasenovac. It is officially claimed that it was a death camp. It remains unclear why the Ustasha authorities, under the conditions at the time, would transport detainees to Jasenovac only to liquidate them there. It would be much simpler to carry out the liquidations locally, something similar to the partisans. The latter did not even try to form camps. During the war, they simply liquidated the real opponents. Since after the collapse of the second Yugoslavia it was no longer possible to maintain the numbers of over 700,000 murdered inmates, the promoters of the Jasenovac myth lowered the ramp to more than 80,000. They made a mistake there because they tried to support the new number with a list of victims and put it all on the Internet. In this way, the big lie became visible to everyone. This big political lie is almost completely covered by the media and financially, there is no confrontation on the topic of Jasenovac, the archive material is in Belgrade and no one from Serbia uses it to support large numbers, and Croatia does not condition the political return of the material to Zagreb. On the Serbian side, there is talk of the largest underground Serbian city and a memorial center that will be built south of the Sava. It is to be hoped that the organizers of the project will make an effort and discover one or more mass graves, the alleged victims of the Ustasha camp deserve so much attention.
