With the coming to power of Donald Trump, global patriots and fighters against fossil fuels experienced a significant blow. Since the globalists have worked for decades to unravel the US economy, the new administration is trying with all its might to save what can be saved. Until yesterday, the untouchable capitalist principles of unlimited freedom of movement of people, goods and capital have been largely questioned in the state, which until now was the main stronghold of capitalist ideology. It was especially difficult for the globalists to see how the American president rudely rejected the favorite ideology of the green transition. Comments are pouring in from all sides: “What a ruffian! How can he treat our favorite green toy so callously? What a narrow-minded provincial who does not have an iota of planetary patriotism!”
Croatia is among the countries that were particularly dissatisfied with the behavior of the American cowboy in the salon. This should be understood when one considers how much effort was invested in translating and implementing the Brussels directives, only to end up with the formation of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition. It was necessary to find expressions and words that at first glance seem self-explanatory and acceptable.
Let us take a closer look at the well-thought-out formulations of the Croatian ministry:
“The Ministry plays a key role in implementing policies aimed at reducing the environmental footprint and transitioning to a green economy, which includes the transition to a low-carbon economy and the development of a circular economy and the active fight against climate change.”
“Participating in international agreements to combat climate change, such as the Paris Agreement and the Montreal Protocol.”
“Adopting a low-carbon development strategy for the Republic of Croatia… long-term sustainable development and climate neutrality.”
If we read more carefully the principles that guide the new ministry in the Government of the Republic of Croatia, then beneath the lexical makeup we will find much that is problematic and unachievable. The question arises as to why a small country with a negligible “political and economic footprint in the world” is pushing itself into the forefront of the green avant-garde? Why can’t we wait a bit, see how the green economy works on other examples, and then draw conclusions? For most of history, human society has had an economy with a minimal “carbon footprint”. This minimum was only occasionally violated during wars by large-scale burning of cities or peacetime fires. If we ignore that, the question remains: how is it that major climate changes occurred in the past when humans produced carbon dioxide in small quantities? How is it that today’s almost uninhabited and icy island of Greenland was long ago called the Green Land? Surely the Vikings didn’t have green hallucinations?

“To burn or not to burn garbage” is the question shaking Zagreb
Waste management is a real problem for the whole of Croatia. The problem is solvable if it is addressed by taking into account material facts and other people’s solutions, but it becomes unsolvable when people are exposed to the maddening media indoctrination about the “circular economy” and hostility towards all chimneys and microparticles in the air, with a determined stance to maintain the existing standard of living. One day, future comedians will have plenty of material for inspiration and there’s no need to invent anything. The new author only needs to monitor the implementation of waste management in Zagreb, where citizens are invited and forced to sort waste so that the same waste can be dumped into a common pile again. A little smarter people claim that a sorting plant should have been built first, but there is another new problem: what to do with waste that is unusable or unprofitable for recycling. No one wants composting plants nearby because of the unpleasant smell and a hundred other problems with groundwater… Occasionally, ingenious ideas arise to transport waste to other regions and countries, so that this terrible danger is as far away from me as possible, so that I can sit in front of the TV in the evening with a clear conscience and watch the ominous warnings about what awaits those who do not heed Greta Thunberg’s warnings. And when someone in Croatia dares to suggest that it is necessary to build energy plants and incinerators for the part of the waste that cannot be recycled, then the cup of civil patience immediately overflows. It turns out that everyone agrees that they do not want waste nearby, but they do not know what to do with it. And while citizens are completely absorbed in this important issue, they do not notice how more and more young acquaintances have evaporated on the “labor market” around the world and that they have been replaced by foreigners who do not care at all about the Brussels directives on carbon dioxide and who are certainly surprised that a city the size of Zagreb does not have an energy plant or incinerator. The people of Zagreb have nothing against using electricity produced in a thermal power plant or a nuclear power plant, as long as these evil facilities are not on the horizon.
This ministry can really boast to Barbie von der Leyen that it takes Greenery seriously. In Croatia, almost all chimneys have been demolished, livestock farming is coming to an end and no one needs to be afraid of our methane, and most young people have left this green paradise. And there is no need to fear that the replacement population from the Far East will change anything here, because they come from regions that do not like chimneys and industry. Since these immigrants prefer children to domestic pets, the problem may soon arise of what to call the new territory and what the official language will be? Didn’t European colonizers also bring their own names for “newly discovered” countries?

Barbie will certainly encourage the mayor of Zagreb, who is purchasing a fleet of electric city buses in Zagreb. Of course, she will not ask unnecessary questions: how much will the total cost of using such vehicles be after half a million kilometers? It is known that today’s electric batteries have an unpleasant habit of self-ignition and are very expensive. Who will be responsible for the consequences? And the mayor of Zagreb can rest assured, he has already taken out such a large mortgage loan on the “capital market” that he can cover all the experiments. The construction of a gas pipeline that will be able to transport hydrogen is another big step towards a green Croatia.
Robotic electric taxi
In July 2021, Barbie von der Leyen appeared in Zagreb. It was immediately clear that something big was on the horizon. Among other things, she strongly encouraged a young Croatian entrepreneur who wants to produce city robot taxis and approved a loan of 179 million euros for the project. The Prime Minister praised her: “This project will be a project of the future, 100% digital and green, and it is in this vein that we wanted to show that Croatia supports the technology industry.” The President of the European Commission was also delighted: “It is a great event that the Croatian plan has been approved and I look forward to supporting Croatia in making this plan a reality. Mate, after seeing your presentation, I must admit that I am very impressed. I saw the future of transport here in Croatia and it is a response to climate change, something that protects the environment…” It should be noted that this politician is the patron of even larger and more successful projects.
The only blemish on this great project appeared later (June 2024) during the presentation of the prototype of an electric robot taxi. The presentation was also attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia. Everything was fine until it was discovered that the robot taxi did not move from its place, and it should be smarter than real drivers in city traffic? This did not sway the young Croatian entrepreneur or the Prime Minister at all, what is important is that the millions are intended for the right direction, which is the green transition. As for the big godmother, she has certainly already forgotten that small episode in the multitude of great successes. It is worth remembering that Croatia has been bypassed by car manufacturers since the time of Yugoslavia, that Mate Rimac’s company produced and sold several very expensive electric cars that were bought by a few rich exhibitionists who only serve to show the world how rich they are. And the robot taxi does not exist, and it should have appeared long ago, and people have already started to lose faith. And when it does appear, the average Zagreb driver will gladly leave the first months of driving to the families and characters who supported this project.
It is not known how much more expensive electric vehicles will be in city traffic than gas-powered vehicles, but no one from the City or the Government is asking this question. This should be understood because they are flying so high globally that they do not have time to deal with such ground-level details. It will be interesting to observe the further implementation of the green transition and climate neutrality in Zagreb’s way. It can be expected that this Brussels venture will slowly be pushed aside as it will be replaced by other, much more important projects to save our Planet. Such financing cannot go unpunished, and the penalty is appropriate inflation. The problem is that the promoters of the green agenda will not feel such a penalty firsthand.
In Croatia, politicians would not be able to do without their walking sticks and it would be difficult for them if someone banned them. Walking sticks have their useful life, but new and even more beautiful ones always emerge so that intellectually lame politicians would not find themselves in a situation without orthopedic aids. Among these aids are “European values”, “decarbonization” and “sustainable economic development”. Between two important flights to Brussels, they often “focus” on “sustainable economic development”. The average person immediately wonders what a sustainable economy is? The wise men from Brussels will immediately come to the rescue and explain that it is a decarbonized economy or an economy based on renewable energy sources, such as wind and sun. They immediately have a ready answer to the objection that it is all too expensive and practically unachievable: “No sacrifice is too great when it comes to saving the space homeland of planet Earth”.

Strategy is a favorite catchphrase among Croatian politicians. When someone wants to make themselves look good, they are happy to use this loophole. It almost seems like it should be banned sometimes and politicians should be forced to provide short-term and concrete solutions. Let them stop using other people’s long-term strategies and take on local jobs. If Zagreb’s leaders thought like that, then waste disposal and management would have been solved long ago. One day, future comedians will have plenty of material for inspiration and there’s no need to invent anything.

The green transition has become a state policy in Germany, regardless of party affiliation. Their “strategy” has led them to political hysteria, so they have closed not only mines, but also nuclear power plants. In addition, the prevailing opinion is that all jobs that were traditionally mostly done by men can be done equally well by women. In this way, the Greens are carrying out a double revolution in Europe. The result is a series of memorable statesmanlike female characters. One of them is the former German Green Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock. One night she had a bad dream and in the morning she announced to the world that the Germans were at war with Russia again, that they needed to arm themselves urgently and that it didn’t matter what most people thought, given their bad historical experiences. This is a strange political metamorphosis, from radical pacifism to a belligerent Amazon, who is not interested in concepts such as ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, blast furnaces and the poor natural resources of the German underground. Who knows, maybe the German minister has an unpublished night message from Barbie von der Leyen, which offers a solution for the German war economy with the help of windmills.
And maybe this politician is right. Why think too much when tomorrow some new political turn will return her people to their previous positions because Germany has been turning towards the strongest wind since 1945 anyway. It should be known that the fear of a too strong Germany has descended into the subconscious of its neighbors. This fear surpasses all the Balkan political phobias that have unjustifiably become a world model.
Annalene Baerbock is not the only statesman in Europe, there are others. One of them is the Danish Green Prime Minister Mette Frederksen. She takes the planetary danger posed by livestock farms and methane very seriously. To that should be added concern for the borders of the distant country in the east. As for Denmark’s western (Greenland) and southern (migrant) borders, it is not a priority for the president, not everything arrives at once.
We all have to ask ourselves how unsustainable economic solutions came to be declared sustainable. How is it that the repeated rejection of green ideology by the USA is not the subject of a single discussion on national frequencies in Croatia? Where did such media and political agreement and discipline come from? The only rational answer is that behind the persistent fight against fossil fuels are the political interests of the highest capitalists. Many have forgotten that it was today’s president of the Russian Federation who at the last minute prevented the collapsed Soviet empire from becoming a province of supranational capital. It should be added that the large reserves of fossil fuels in the Russian Federation and Islamic countries are their main lever of power. And Israel has been at war and in political conflict with Islamic countries since 1948.
When things are arranged in this way, then the fight against climate change and the imposition of planetary patriotism seem completely understandable. In addition, it is an ideal way to politically befog and divert attention from the real social problems of European nations such as: population replacement, accelerated extinction, dysgenic trends, cultural decadence, wild capitalism and the unprecedented concentration of wealth and political power in the hands of a small number of people.
The question is whether the war against CO2 is the greatest deception in history. It is certainly great, but it has strong competition for that title of champion in many of the victors’ accounts of World War II.
From a technical point of view, there is nothing to criticize the propagandists of the Green Transition. Propaganda must always have a rational and obvious basis. So it is clear to everyone that the air and environment in large cities are polluted and that winters are much milder and summers are hotter than before. On this basis, political propagandists imperceptibly enter the scene with the claim that climate change has occurred because man, using fossil fuels, has disrupted the natural balance by releasing too much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Since such claims can be easily refuted with exact facts, propagandists behave professionally and do not allow for expert discussion on the topic. A large number of climatologists are rightly outraged by this behavior, but political propaganda cannot act differently, regardless of the ratio of truth to lies. To be successful, it must be total and must not allow for any pluralism in the interpretation of the key premise of the anthropogenic cause of climate change.
